Launched on 19thJanuary 2009, the Girls' Wing is earmarked for young Pakistani women who envision uniting the evolving feminine strength of their society.
Objectives
The Girls' Wing is committed to:
- Consolidate a team of Pakistani girls determined to uplift the image of our nation globally
- Replenish the experience of being in Pakistan by organizing events reflective of our true values and culture.
- Provide avenues for Pakistani girls to exhibit their talents, voice opinions, share knowledge, and fulfill their aspirations.
- Cultivate symbiotic relationships that foster caring, respect, empowerment, emancipation and patriotism.
- Identify and utilize opportunities for collectively serving deserving members of the community.
- Establish role models to help future mothers of our society exhibit as well as uphold our traditions along with our religion Islam.
The Team
The launch ceremony witnessed a bustling election process during which a sizeable gathering elected the following governing committee for this tenure:
- President: Ms. Anum Khaleeq
- General Secretary: Ms. Qandeel Arif
- Joint Secretary: Ms. Rabia Azeem
- Treasurer: Ms. Aisha Riaz
Passionate to reverberate the vision of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinah and making Pakistanis the leading community in the world, the Girls Wing extends an arm to all the young Pakistani women and hopes the youth of today realizes the power it holds, if united, and comes forward to join hands with us to work towards a better Pakistan, a better world and, a better tomorrow.
Membership
The wing is almost touching 100 members and is looking forward to an exponential growth. In order to be eligible for membership you need to be:
- Pakistani
- Female
- 15 – 35 years old
(Marital Status is of no significance)
The annual fee is Dhs.100 only and forms are available at the Pakistan
Association Dubai.
We also offer family packages which includes discounts for girls from the same family.
