The projects consist of Dubai Bypass Road, Beirut – Al Nahdah Interchange, Al Ittihad Road, Dhiyafa Interchange, Parallel Roads, Upper Deck and Financial Center Road, Mirdiff Bridge and local roads.

The projects have been undertaken as part of RTA master plan to keep pace with the urban development witnessed by the emirate, and to cope with the present and projected demographic expansion.

According to Mattar Al Tayer, chairman of the board and executive director the RTA, the overall aim was to promote public dependence on other modes of transport to alleviate congestion on the roads.
