Community Welfare Services
One thing that the Pakistani Community can be really proud of is a large variety of welfare services that PAD provides to the needy members of the community in the United Arab Emirates. Affluent members of the community contributed for this cause with pledges worth AED 2 millions for this year. The services provided include:

- Legal Advice: Community members indulged or dragged into conflicts within families or with third parties receive professional advice and practical help to sort the legal matters out amicably.

- Educational Support: Children of the community who are sometimes deprived of their right of learning and education just due to lack of financial resources are supported by PAD. For 2008, PAD has paid full year’s school fees for more than 150 deserving students.

- Health & Wellbeing: Member of the community facing serious health issues who are not covered by a medical insurance plan and do not have enough money to address expensive health needs like major surgeries, transplants, extended hospital stays or prolonged periods of medication are provided financial assistance. Deserving community members also receive support from PAD in case they are not able to pay their utility bills etc.

- Accidental Deaths: PAD assists in transporting the dead bodies to the homeland of those who do not have any friends or close relatives in UAE to share the financial burden.

- Relief Program: Devastating earth quakes and floods in the recent times back in Pakistan demanded every member of the humanity in general and the Pakistani Community, in particular, to show their solidarity with their homeland and its people hit by disasters. Pakistani Community in the UAE, under the umbrella of PAD, has created a record by sending the largest relief package for he earth quake.

- Jobs & Careers: In order to help the Pakistani jobseekers in the United Arab Emirates, PAD has established a Job Desk at its premises. The services for job seekers include proactive search of vacancies, identification of suitable vacant positions, cross-communication between the potential employees and employers, advice on preparation of CV’s and preparation for interviews.

Sports & Fitness
Pakistan Association provides practicing facilities for cricket, volleyball, badminton and table tennis to its members and their children. PAD also organizes matches and tournaments of cricket, field hokey, volleyball, shooting ball and kabbadi.

Cultural & Recreational Programs
Throughout the year, PAD organizes a vast variety of functions and programs. These include dramas, stage shows, family fiestas, poetic and intellectual gatherings, welcome and farewell dinners for dignitaries and memorial days. The colorful programs of PAD national programs on National Day and Independence Days have always been the talk-of-the-town.

Academic & Literary Activities
Pakistan Association Dubai has been honored with holding seminars, lectures and presentations of Pakistani academia and men and women of literary renounce. Experts from different fields of professional expertise visit PAD regularly and share their wealth of knowledge and experience with the Pakistani Community in the UAE at the venue of PAD.

Religious Awareness & Training
Aligning its vision with the cause of our homeland “Pakistan Ka Matlab Kiya – La Ilaha Ill-Allah”, PAD is known for organizing very effective religious programs for the members of the community. We invite famous Islamic scholars to spread the Islamic knowledge and enlighten our hearts and souls with great teachings of Qur’aan and the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be with him).

PAD’s Annual Islamic Summer Camp under the title “Flowers of Jannah” has become a hallmark of quality in character building for our future generations.
